Wow! That is some serious **** right there!
I have to ask, are you a gamer or a collector?Blommen
I play them, both old and new. Just yesterday I finished Grim Fandango for the first time. Next it'll be Fallout 1 I finish. I'm not the type of person that needs the box and manual. If I can fine the original CD on eBay or Amazon that's good enough for me. Having the original box/manual is a bonus. The manuals and boxes I do have take up an entire closet in my house. If there is a CD key that's required I type it into a text document I keep on two hard drives (in case one drive failes). The text document is getting pretty long.
All of my CDs/DVDs are in alphabetical order in the three cases. A to F, G to P, and Q to Z. The picture of the three cases I linked here is rather old. That was when I had around 200ish games. I usually wait until I have a large stack of discs and then go through and reorder them.

And you have a system, now you are officially my idol! I wish I could keep all my games in such a system but I'm terrible with pc-games, so I rip them to iso's and save them on my hdd.
My console games are my babies though, taking good care of those:)
its not the fact of how many games he has but how many good ones he seems to have which is almost every one...Big deal...!!!
Man you guys are easily impressed...

what does a massive collection of pc games have to do with pc gaming...? LET'S THINK FOR A SECOND!So do I...but I'm not on the board bragging about it.
And what does this have to do with PC gaming ? This should be in off topic...

Wow, someone is jealous!
Anyway, that is an awesome collection and sweet rig you got there. Puts my 20 some games to shame. :P

Very impressive, very clean, very nice :)
My question is this: What do yo do with the boxes and manuals? I started to use the storage method you have but invariably I'm too much of a pack rat and attempt to keep the boxes and manuals. I need to break this habit before my CD collection takes over my whole closet. My game collection is slightly more manageable.
If you do toss out the boxes and manuals where/how do you store the CD keys?
Thanks ;)
I want to know this as well do even still have all that stuff lying around??And I sure wouldn't clutter up my HD with all that crap..
The guy is rich, bored and bragging...and your all kowtowing to him/her
Giving him exactly what he wants...
But whatever floats your boat...

I'm not rich. I have been a PC gamer since the early 90s. Granted, 60% of these I've purchased within the last year, but they aren't all that expensive.
The reason why I posted is because it's different and you don't see many (are there any others?) who would do something this crazy.
the most games I had was at least 200 and sold them on ebay.. they were all vintage games for pc and got $150... This was over a year ago so..... I believe that that collection is worth at least $1000 give or take.TrooperManaic
There are quite a few older games I had to pay $50+ for. If I wanted to sell them I'd probably sell the entire computer along with it. All of them installed and ready to go to the next person. I wonder what I'd get if I put all of this on eBay. If I had to give a value I'd say I purchased 230 games over the past year at an average of $20 a pop (shipping + game).

I'm married, own my own house, and own my own cars. I have a full 40 hour a week job. Other than messing with cars PC gaming is my only other hobby.
