Don't forget about Ed Mcmahon :( a sad sad day.Farrah Fawcett died today as well... someone is killing off the 80's!

lol! wow, that is awesome - if I had Left 4 Dead, I'd do that. Thriller was definitely Jackson's best work. Sad day indeed. :(
It's unfortunate that he passed away...I think he lived a sad, confused life. Off the Wall and Thriller were great pop albums and he had a phenomenal amount of success, but that doesn't neccessarily equate to happiness. I hope he died without pain.
Good person? He was a child molester! :|[QUOTE="jimmychoo2"]NNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! michael was a good person and had some good songs... R.I.P.Nerkcon
he was proven innocent by a court of law! and it just goes to show just how much an accusation can **** up someone live even if your innocent and get proven innocent as far as you public image goes your guilty. Of course this isn't for petty accusation i mean big time stuff like child molestation and rape.

Wow. Both Michael and Farrah... Both, when they were on, were on top of (and help define) the pop world. Both fell from grace in a very public way... They were, like you say, icons of the 80's. They both helped define the times: Michael musically and Farrah sensually... For those who were too young to be there, understand these two defined pop culture in a BIG way. Michael was the soundtrack of the 80's and Farrah, well, Google some of her 80's pictures: feathered hair, toned body, strong facial features, and... look it up: I'm sure she was a wake up call for many adolescent boys.
Excuse me while I go get drunk and reminisce...

Really, do you have any sources to prove this? Here, let me help: link. You may not agree, but US criminal law said he was innocent. Also, if you are unaware, there is a difference in the level of proven guilt between a civil and criminal case in the US. I'll let you do the research...

I just did some more research, the only people who truly know is MJ himself, the kids involved, and god. I really hope wasn't it, because I don't like the idea of people escaping the law because they're rich and famous. :(I dont wish death on anyone, but I think this may have saved a few little boys from being molested in the future. That dude was wacked out.

The first time he was charged with Child Molestation (in 1993)... he settled out of court for $20,000,000...? Why would you settle and give the kids family $20,000,000 if you were innocent...?
You wouldn't.

But, me personally, I'd never want to be judged (in this world) by a moral argument. It's too weak logically and left up to too much personal interpretation for me. If this is your sense of justice, well, good luck with that and I hope the best for you... and yes, money buys the law, but please do not lower the argument to... god.
Yep, I'm a God fearing person (but believes God does not get involved directly in our day-to-day issues). When I'm shone (legal) proof Michael was innocent/guilty then we can discuss further...

Okay, moral arguments aren't very logically weak. The Bible out-lines them very clearly what's right and what's wrong. Everyone will be judged by these morals one day whether they believe it or not so if they want to stick to corrupt courts in this life okay whatever you'll see one day...

If you read my statement I say as much, but in a court of LAW I hope I'm never submitted too someone else's moral ideology... In my mind much of the worlds troubles stem from this limited viewpoint... But, really, I just want too celebrate Michael Jackson's achievements (not downfalls) in his death. There is time enough for judging him later, if you see fit...

It wasn't PROVEN though.... I am NOT defending him in this, but can't you see the other side? maybe people were trying to get his money by accusing him of such things?Regarding the child molestation, I think we can all agree that MJ was really messed up in the head, who knows what kind of **** he did with kids in his ranch....ugh. But he was a great artist, and that's worthy of remembering.

But if he was innocent, he would have had nothing to fear... instead though, he settled out of court for $20,000,000 in 1993... I am no law expert... but I know enough to know that you don't settle out of court and agree to pay $20,000,000 unless you know for a fact that you will be found guilty...
