Is there difference between In-game anti-aliasing and anti-aliasing forced by the hardware? Which one is recommended?

Results may vary when using the in-game and forced AA. Some games respond badly with their own AA, and others can't seem to handle forced AA. I generally try the in-game AA first, then go to forced as the next step if that doesn't work well. Ultimately, some games don't handle any sort of AA well, and you just have to turn it off.

I have mine set to forced as I can't be bothered with in-game AA and lack of AF. So 16/16 works for me in pretty much any game, well except UE3 based games ..

I usually force AA through nHancer because there's more choices for AA.

i never made any difference with that ... i guess i always used in-game AA
