Hi,

So I installed Vista over Windows 7 (I know it's a mistake but I haven't had any other choice). Now there is problems with resolution and network. After I opened device management I can see that there is some problems with drivers.

There is a yellow triangle near Standart VGA Graphics Adapter. I don't have any internet connection so I have to download driver for this adapter manually but I cant find any.

I dowloaded driver for network adapter and triangle disapeard but I still can't connect to internet. Is there some options that I have to to apply? BTW there is also Other Devices section that has Network Controler included in it (also yellow triangle). Maybe it causes it? How to fix it?

Thanks.

P.S. Sorry for my rusty english :)

Curious as to why to Downgraded from Win7 to Vista? I personally didnt mind Vista - but the Majority of votes suggest Win7 a Much better OS...

But anyway...The unfortunate thing is, you dont have internet..?.. If your PC was designed to Accomodate Windows 7 - Then its a Fair Bet that the Hardware is too new for Vista, meaning there are No built in Drivers for Vista to install the Proper Drivers.

The only real suggestion is, figure out Exactly what each hardware Component you have, and I mean Specifically. And writethat down - Like your Graphics Card for example. and what ever - Other hardware drivers are not properly installed.

Next, You're going to Have to find a Computer that Does have internet access, Find or Go out and Buy a USB Thumbdrive..Search and Download the Specific Drivers to that Thumbdrive, and I would further suggest Finding and Downloading Various Versions of that Driver (incase the first one doesnt work for some reason) and when you do your search, include "Vista Drivers" as well to be sure the driver includes either an x86 or 64bit driver, depending on the Version of vista you have, and then obviously Download that/Those drivers.

Also, head over to Download.com - and download WINRAR, incase the drivers require a compressed/zip file. And thats it..

Install the drivers from that USB Thumbdrive, to you hardware.

Sorry for the Drawn out explaination - but just making sure you understand all the specifics - since I dont know your Computer knowlede.

And im happy to answer or Help answer more questions fi needed?

Also, If you cant find a computer with Internet connection, then you're unfortunately Screwed, and all the above advice is Useless.

Good Luck.
