The laptop producer is SAGER.

Are they legit ? Cause as seen in my previous topics ... i was looking at a dell. But i found these guys ...

and i've never seen a core duo 3.0 ... was wondering if its all legit.

I really like the look of dell though : )

E8400 should be better than the Q6600 in most if not every game out there today. I'm not going to go quad for a while (perhaps with Nephalem) because I use my comp almost strictly for games. Encoding and crap I'd say quad tho.

What are you talking about? Quads are the just as good, if not better at running gaming applications than dual cores.

A 3ghz core is faster than 2.4gh (if they use the same arcitecture) and if the game just use 2cores ofc. a dual on 3ghz is faster than the quad 2.4ghz since the quad still just use 2 of the 4 cores.

so.. the dual would be qite a bit faster in the games that make use of 2 or less cores.

Sure its one of the better Dual cores. E8500 is a bit better at 3.16Ghz. Should last until games are predominately quad core then I'd expect you to shift to Quad then if not then get the Q6600 and you'd be ready for those games right now, bare in mind a lot of games right now perform better on a Quad then they do on a Dual core.
