im seeing SO many games that are made on consoles and then just ported to pc. if that is the case, why are more powerful video cards and whatnot (that are meant for gaming) being released? 99% of devs are just ignoring most (if not all) of the new hardware and choosing the painfully limited consoles. its a shame that we cant have better games because of the ps3 and 360 holding back the quality of games.
Alot of free-roam first persons coming out. Like Oblivion I imagine along with success they will also have great graphics to challenge the latest cards. Far Cry is an example of this.
u might wanna cut that out, or at least include "legal" before that wordGTR2addict
Seen in the moderation section that people can/are moderated for quoting something against the rules. I would cut the word out or just take out the entire quote less you might get a moderation as well man. Just letting you know. Not that i agree with that kind of thing but i have seen more and more getting moderated for quoting things as it "makes it your post as well if you quote it".
As for the OP. You also got to understand that HDTV's cant go to 1920x1200 and beyond, are usually capped at 30fps, and often do not smooth out the edges like PC. The top end GPU cards are meant for top end setups and those people do need the horsepower. So its relative to your entire setup if you need the high end or not.
