I have been looking into this game. I heard it very good and has lots of content to keep me busy for awhile. I already played 4 to death but would like to play this game for the new campaign and CO-OP features. I Also want to check out the new online multiplayer content as well.

So is this game worth 50$?

Not really. If youre bored with CoD 4 chances are you will be bored with WaW soon enough.

However, if you really REALLY liked CoD 4 and want more of the same (only WWII-themed) then ya, it might be worthwhile.

I still feel like I wasted my money on it though. I hate acheivements, unlockables, and leveling in online shooters.

Look on Ebay, I picked up a brand new copy of waw (still in wrapping) for $28 bucks w/shipping. I wouldn't pay much more than $35 though. I still play cod 4 more, but I liked the campaign more. Also not a lot of people play nazi zombies, so it can be frustrating to not be able to find a game.

I have Cod4 and Cod5 and I like Cod5 better. It's definitely worth it in my opinion. However, I only have about 40 hours of Cod4 playtime so I didn't play it all that much. I have about 150 hours of Cod5. The Co op is pretty good but it I cant get all the servers for campaign co op, however I think that is a router problem so its not the game. The nazi zombie mode makes it a lot of fun too so overall I'd say its worth 50 bucks. Campaign is pretty good too. I'd say overall its worth 50 bucks and I like it a lot more than Cod4, the maps are bigger so its a lot less blind nading and more tactical.

Im not bored of Call of duty 4 Im just kinda tired of playing the same maps and content. "I hate acheivements, unlockables, and leveling in online shooters." Well if you don't like any of those then you most likely did not enjoy Cod4

I think that COD: WaW has the best campaign of all the COD games. It was great. I really enjoyed the game. It was even epic, in some parts. The action was unrelenting. Even sniper missions were action packed, because you had to keep pushing forward. The multiplayer is fun. The maps are quite big. And Co-OP is great to have as well.

OK then WaW is for you :)

As for my statement, Im not gonna tell you its a bad game...its a good game. I just feel when its come to shooters it should be you and your gun of choice against them and their gun of choice. I like playing for sport, not for reward. Just my personal philosophy lol.

Nazi zombies is good (though hit registering is poor), and i imagine campaign co-op is good, but, foilage has invisible barrier round it, and it has that tacky treyarch feel, it feels like a chineese import (I know it is not :P), or a cheap knock-off ipod, unfinished, to me. Treyarch developed call of duty: big red one, and call of duty: 3 - in other words, the most forgetable ones :p. I'd stick with COD4, and wait for modern warfare 2.
