No, I don't think so. The biggest I've seen is Battlefield 2142. Probably due to how poorly coded and bloated that game is.

i think supcom, actually. the game just kinda uses more and more memory as the game goes on, doesn't it? or just thinking about the games that caused the >3GB memory addressing crashes.. supcom, witcher, maybe stalker too.

Hmmm, let's see.

Oblivion was considered pretty graphics heavy, and it came out the same year BF2142 did (2006.)

and here's Crysis (2007) running on its highest settings in DX10:

And at last, Battlefield 2142:

I think it deserves the title of The Most Bloated Game in Existence. I dare anyone to beat this.

Game? Maybe. Program? Hell no. Look at Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, CATIA... I've even managed to soak up a couple gigs in Visual Studio. And for sheer bloat, nothing beats TOAD. TOAD makes me want to slit my wrists.

So far , the game that i seen that takes the most memory is GTA IV. Before patches it went up to 1GB but now its gone down to 900 MB.

This. Try running this game with max water detail, bloom, and max density settings in downtown Tokyo.

Crysis and Crysis Warhead run better then GTA IV and SR2 for me hehe. Poor optimization plays a role sometimes.

1 . Are we taking the resolution into account too ? And should we ? I have tried this before but forgot how much of a difference it could make if any , but I think it probably made some difference .

2 . Part of the game or application's needs gets paged , what about with no page file ?

3 . Doesn't Vista naturally allocates more memory to running applications ?

4 . These are with game's presets , not editing the ini and cfg files and tweaking the drawing distance and things like that
