Wow, I would be frustrated if that happened after I survived a good number of days...

I had a Mt. Dew, Ghillie Suit, and NVG (acquired from loot spawns and not players/hackers). A hacker finally did me in today - teleported everyone in the server a small island on Krutov Cap. I disconnected, reconnected to a low-pop server, and attempted to swim back to shore. Out of nowhere my guy's blood drops to -2000 and I'm dead. Lasted about 5 days, had a good run.

I accept your points.

My own was sound. While seperate from yours it fell within the relevance of the topic. You failed to differentiate.

The teleportations are obviously not meant to be part of the game.. but I get the feeling that a lot of people complaining about hackers were probably ambushed or sniped and just want to blame hackers for it. Sure they are out there, and I haven't played DayZ for very long but I haven't come across any yet.

I think it's hilarious, I got killed by hackers and found it very amusing, I hope they keep doing it I like it.

Yeah it's the highlight of the game. The thrill I get from being teleported then shot by some nerd laughing like a hysterical woman's just...too good for words.

I still haven't encountered a hacker. Maybe I'm just lucky with my server choices - I usually play on UK, FR and DE servers.

You guys are incredibly lucky to not encounter a hacker... I have played maybe 10 hours and especially in the 40+ servers it is beyond annoying. Absolutely pisses me off , when you play for hours to build a good character just to be transported to thunder zone or something ridiculous and die instantly. Then having to set for at least 10 mins for the game to reload is infuriating. These are the two main reasons I dont play the game no more. So much potential....

Hasn't happened to me in a long while. Dayz is not even close to unplayable. Even if someone does hack a server all you have to do is leave and find a better server. Don't complain like you're playing a finished product since you aren't. These issues will undoubtedly be handled in time.

You guys/girls should consider joining a clan and getting on a different group of servers if you are plagued by hacking, it's extremely rare on the servers I've been frequenting.

What is this "better server" you speak of? Theres absolutely nothing stopping a hacker joining them and ruining everyones day. There is literally nothing anyone can do to stop these people, unless an admin just bans everyone he doesnt know which again is ridiciolous

I have a friend that talks about nothing but this game since a few days now. I got a change to try it and i have to say i like pretty much everything about it, well, when i say try i mean i was alone in a map in a military base with loads of vehicles and guns. Got a chance to drive them all and get a feel for the weapons and was even more impressed when he said there were even more than those. But anyway, i really liked the gameplay and from all i've heard of this dayz mod sounds like a load of fun. I love how they captured that "walking dead" feel, where the thing you have to be most afraid is other people and not the zombies. I loved the idea of having nothing else to do but survive, i imagine your heart must really start to race when you feel like you're about to die and all those hours are about to go out of the window and you start experience genuine fear, and this is what games like Resident Evil or Silent Hill lack because you just know if you die you'll either go back to the door you just used or a bit further back, so you're never really afraid as much as you are "lets see whats what and if anything goes wrong i'll just try something else". Having that said i'm not sure i'm about to put money in a game where the point is to spend hours and hours carefully planning your move and trying to avoid being killed for as long as you can, looting and conserving stuff to have it all end in a second by someone who has too much time and nothing better to do. Just the amount of money, human resources and time put in games in general to try to have hackers in check could be spent on actually making the games better and more exciting if only those people weren't so messed up.

Would make sense to me that most of the hackers are kids from the U.S so it's normally the U.S. servers that are absolutely infested. Maybe I just play a lot of Day Z, but there isn't a single day that goes by that I don't get affected by hackers.
