Is Episode 1 worth it, of should I just continue onto Episode 2?

I love Half-Life 2..... But I hear the Episode 1 plot doesn't go anywhere. Should I just skip EP1 and Hit up the rumored awesomeness that is Half-Life 2: Episode 2?

PS I own them all just haven't had been playing too much COD4 to start EP1

Half Life Episode 2 is practically the continuation of Episode 1.

So you'll be missing the intro to the story of Episode 2.

You will appreciate Ep 2 more if you've completed Ep 1 and you will appreciate Ep 1 more when you've finished Ep 2 in the end. They complement each other even though it's universally agreed that Ep 2 >> Ep 1.

If you own episode 1 play it. I has crap-loads of story that you would be completely out on if you jumped right into episode 2, and has some really cool fights and scenes, as well.

i guess you bought orange box ... i hope so .... so YES play them in order, anyway ep1 isn,t very long ... 5 hours juste like ep2
