Is it ok to have a slight difference between CPU core temps after HSF install?

I just installed a new TRUE 120 Black on my Core i7 920. This is my first time applying thermal paste on my own, but I did it how various sites say to do it. Now I'm measuring my temps with SpeedFan under full load (Prime95 torture test). I want to know if it really matters whether or not all the CPU cores are at the same temperatures. At idle there's a 1-3C difference between cores 0/1 and 2/3. Similarly, at load, there's a 0-2C difference between them. I'm guessing there might be a little more or less thermal paste over 2 of the cores than the others. Is this a big deal, will it do any harm to have a temperature differential over the different cores? (Is it worth redoing it?) Thanks

The cores will never be at the same temperature because the workload is never spread evenly across them.

I thought with Prime95, all cores are used 100% pretty evenly?

Nope. You're NEVER gonna get the same temps; that's how it works. Trust me it's not strange.
