fast like cs, very spammy on high player count servers, many game modes, good perk/unlock system that is sadly ruined when they made them client side. Good maps. The netcode in cod 4 is brilliant, sounds are perfect.

The multiplayer is the only reason I would get cod 4, it's good.

Wow. Your post doesn't make any sense at all. You have the M16 from level 1 and after leveling up a few times which is a peace of cake, you can get the red dot sight and i can guarantee you, if you have skills you can take out any level 55 player with that weapon.

My guess is that you sucked so bad that you had to stopped playing as soon as you started

Personally, I didn't care for COD4's multiplayer. It wasn't that it was unbalanced (though at times it felt like it was so with some weapons higher level users had), but in how easy it was to kill or die...some games you spawn in and get mowed down by a helicopter or air strike instantly. Very spammy and mostly just spray and pray gameplay, unless you use a sniper rifle...but hardly anybody uses those over the other guns.

I honestly preferred the multiplayer in COD1/2 over COD4's...

I found Team Fortress 2 to be more balanced overall with the class system, but that is just me.

Only played it on 360, it's good, but I don't see why people praise it like the second coming of the Messiah.Vfanek

Everyone has different perks and every one has pros and cons. May be I prefer bazooka perk and others. I got 3 someone's got other 3 and we don't have alike perks. It's unabalanced, it depends on a situation if the perks help u or not

Get CSS. So much better. Better balance, nades that can't be thrown across the whole ****ing map so you have to watch the whole round, so many more maps and just as many game types. CSS wins on every level.solid_mario

55 level player get the best and powerful weapons. Interesting why some1 has to spend time on leveling up! he came to play RPG?! or maybe someone's good at shooting with shotgun and sniping but he gets weak ones. I understand u like arguing but I'm not gonnaLaCompote

And again, i'm sure this won't make much sense to you since you probably spent less than an hour playing the game. Me on the contrary, i have spent over 5 days (that's over 120 hours) playing and have passed prestige mode 4 or 5 times and i can tell you for sure that the game is very well balanced

Make no mistake its slower than CS especially 1.6. if you like getting nade spammed, ya its great!

Most overrated multiplayer ever. What I hate: getting tired after running a few meters, becomes very irratating even with the stamina increase, its retarded and they should just get rid of it all together.

Clunky, slow movements, theres no "athleticism" so to speak, no dodging, no nothing. Takes just a few bullets to kill, even fewer than CS. It just doesnt take much skill.

No interactive environment, you can't even knock over a vase or break a table.

It's clearly been consolized, you can tell by the original map designs.

Too spammy for my taste. Half of the times I die from grenades spamming, helis killing me instantly after I respawn or air strike at respawning places. Also if you play Hardcore mode then you are just spraying everywhere hoping to get a kill or two.

Hell are snipers even that important in the game? In Hardcore mode I use my MP5 as a sniper
