It's all right. I bought it on 360 the first day, way before the controversey. I'm going to go out on a limb and say don't buy it, but if you can find a friend who has it, play co-op. But I'm excited for K&L 2. Looking very nice.
It's alright. Worth the super cheap price on Steam, there is also a demo too I believe if you want to try it first. The shooting is decent, characters are terrible but the overall story is pretty good. The cover system is awful though, one of the worst in any game I've ever played.
For that price? I know that I bought it, didn't think twice. Yes, reviews worldwide are somewhat contradictory, but the overall players opinions were good. In worst scenario, I lost the price of a cheap sandwich. ;)

It also had a non-functional cover system.

Then found a new website, and everyone will instantly forget the fact you were a terrible reviewer even before mentioning Kane and Lynch? He wasnt terrible he just actually had the huts to critisize big name games.

Just a warning to, if you get the game from the Steam sale you have to install the Games for Windows Live manually or else the game will crash on launch, you can get some easy points outta it though if you are a points lover like me :P. Game runs very smooth for me on max settings, hasnt crashed, sorta fun to play to I lie the graphical style. Only thing is the swearing, they swear for no reason so it sounds really stupid.
I finished it back in october (pc version of course!) good game but nothing special. Also it works perfect with keyboard and mouse and it runs on max settings even on slower pc.
