I have been trying to play mass effect 2 for half an hour now and it keeps saying Game is currently unavailable, i have played it before and its never encountered a problem, but i decided to play again because i purchased the new dlc. Is it working for anyone else or is it just me?

Is this on Steam? since you can't get such an error on EADM or retail.

Close Steam, delete ClientRegistry.blob from your Steam folder (make sure you know your password, since you'll need to log in again after you delete that file). Should work after that.

So the ClientRegistry.blob is not important?

It holds your account information, that's why you will be asked to log in again into Steam (if it was on auto log in), it'll be there again once you log in after deleting it, so don't worry, everything will be fine. Deleting this file fixes the problem in pretty much 99.9% of the cases.

Just tried it and it still shows the same message for Mass Effect 2. All my other games work, is this a temporary Steam problem or something specific wit me?
