at lod it gets near 60c

You're safe up to into the lower 70s. (with 45nm Core 2s anyway)

Well for 3.16ghz that's pretty high. What's your voltage set at? Maybe the heat sink isn't installed properly. I guess if you have a stock heat sink that could be the reason but ya 60 degrees celsius isn't anything to freak out about

i want to oc it a bit but i cant my temps go ski high. i tested my cpu temps playing crysis at full load it hit 66c

anything in the 60s is fine. its when you reach 70s then you should worry
