No, below average I would say, mine used to be EXTREMELY old, and then I upgades to 6200 (Was cheap :P). Still old, but it at least RUNS games like C&C3 etc, instead of just puffing dust. 7000s are good, and 8000s are great, 8800s are superb :P

In no way shape or form is that a good card its the bottom of the range card from 2 chipset series ago , sorry to be blunt.

It beats my old geforce 2 32mb which I still haveif that's any comfort!

At very very least you need a 6600 GT these days. But if you were buying a new one a geforce8 or ATI equivilent.

You are best off taking this to the pc hardware forum and asking there. But for Crysis the new 8800 GTS 640 coming next month or get a GTX if you have the cash.

I'd go for a ATI 1950pro. They are under $200 and will play crysis pretty well with DX9. If you go for a 8 series. Make sure is is not an 8500 and i really wouldn't get the 8600 gt... get the gts or an 8800 gts 320mb. So expect about $150-$300. Anything less will equal poor crysis for you.
