is my internet considered fast?

im using my laptop and i went to youtube and did a speed test by left clicking on the video.It said i have an average speed of 13.71 mbps. Is this slow,average,fast internet speed?!im with COX high speed BTW.

i get about triple to four times that

comcast extreme 50 in the config file viewed with vultureware, posterboost is 60 megabits, no upload powerboost. Real speeds viewed 55,000 and 17,000 on upload. I would get extreme 105, 105/20 up, but they want a 250$ install fee when my modem signals are perfect, they can go to hellz.

I used to have extreme 105, 2 years ago... before it was even announced... hehehehe. I also have 2x silver tier modems form Comcast, 15/2.2 and a DSL line from ATT.

Also tc, yours is very average.

fiber internet is not available where I currently live, Norway is a small and not densly populated country ;)

I'm on a 50mb broadband, upload is pants but it is peak time atm. This is about double the average UK broadband speed. Been told that it's getting increased to 120mbs by the middle of the year :)

Average UK speed is about 7mbs iirc.

2.04 mb/s download, 0.98 mb/s upload, Canada Bell internet sucks, I'm definitly getting throttled

I like my half assed way to do web servers. Host the site on your net, and then upload all the content to your dropbox public folder ;D Except in your case, you'd do the opposite.JigglyWiggly_
