Is Nox much better than Fate?

I recently completed Fate and Fate Undiscovered Realms, and I thought they were good games. But I have heard Nox is a much better game. Is this true? Some even say that Nox is one of the best action rpgs ever made. Is this true?

i liked it bunches still own it. in a time when we saw games such as NwN and icewind dale just breaking there franchises in nox came from deep left field with a wild story, huge expansive terrain and larger multiplayer options then any other rpg with online play at the time (excluding mmo's and text based games of course). furthermore it also had some sweet spell animations.
