[QUOTE="SoraX64"]The second one is modular.iOverkillWhat does modular mean if you dont mind me asking? instead of all the wires being permanently connected to the PSU a modular PSU has some wire that can be removed or plugged in for better cable management.

Is the extra fourty bucks worth buying a modular?
No, especially when there are other PSU's, like this one and this one, that are still from reputable brands, but for cheaper. Corsair's HX PSU's are overpriced, imo.
However, if your budget allows the 750HX, you might as well go with this XFX 850w, which is also quite good.

So what makes the XFX better or equal to the Corsair I posted earlier? No, especially when there are other PSU's, like this one and this one, that are still from reputable brands, but for cheaper. Corsair's HX PSU's are overpriced, imo.

So what makes the XFX better or equal to the Corsair I posted earlier? Never used XFX, but I've been using Corsair for years and it has proved, time and time again, that it's #1 in reliability (in my book).[QUOTE="ravenguard90"]So what makes the XFX better or equal to the Corsair I posted earlier? No, especially when there are other PSU's, like this one and this one, that are still from reputable brands, but for cheaper. The XFX is a rebrand of Seasonic's M12D series, which is considered one of the best power supplies you can get in the market. Corsair's PSU's are also rebrands of Channel Well Technology's products, which are also quite reliable, but nothing that puts it over Seasonic's PSU in any way.
