No criticism?

I'm just curious if it's gonna be good enough for most things. I'm no hardcore gamer, but I knowit system should play fine.

Well, the video card sucks. Try getting a laptop with a 8600m GT if you can.

I think I'm content with the video card, since it's mostly a student/college pc.I assume it can play games nonetheless.

Nothing amazing. Just whatever comes out with low grade settings. I'm more of a console gamer. Is the card good enough for video viewing and editing and all that jazz?

Yeah thats the big question there. Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects have everything you need for video editing, but both of them is gonna take you down about $1800 Premiere is the primary video editor while After Effects lets you add in tons of cool effects and whatnot. If you're only looking for the editing Premiere by itself is only $800

How much should it be?

I've seen some crazy laptops in the ranges of 3-4 grand. That's insane. My father got this one, he hasn't disclosed how much. I'm sure it's around 1,400 or so, based on other HP computers.

Not any, I was just using a video editing system as an example. I don't plan on spending over 200$ for a program... ha. I'm not that kneedeep yet.
