I bought a new pc and want to know if it will last through some years for gaming.

Mobo: GA-EP45-UD3P

CPU:Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz

Vid: Nvidia 9800gt 1gig pny

PSU: Corsair 850TX

RAM: Corsair CM2X2048-6400C5

HDD: 1TB Western Digital 3Gbs

Also on another note my last pc started to fail after i got that vid card and i think it was because my psu at that time only had 22a on the 12v, could that have caused crashes, reboot cycles, and failure to post?

For about $50 more, you should be able to get a GTX260, which has 216 pipelines. The 9800gt has 112 btw... *Edit* - Ah, nevermind. You've had the card for a while. In that case, you should b fine for a while. When you start to lag, either sell your card on ebay, or overvolt and overclock it... And yes, since 22amps is the MAX that the PSU can sustain for a short time, your PSU was probably the problem...

Should be good for awhile, at most it will need a video card upgrade in a couple years. By the time you need a CPU upgrade i7s should be reasonably priced then you'll need a new mobo and everything, but that probably won't happen soon.

Yeah i had the majority of this pc for awhile the mobo, cpu and psu are new but they are just to replace the last ones that burnt out since im still on a tight budget but so long as it last for a few years im happy and the fact i mostly play mmo's. also that boot problem is driving my crazy no pc games for almost 2 months now, hopefully when the rma'd parts arrive this week ill be sane again.
