I want to buy this wireless keyboard so that when I lay down I can still navigate Netflix or whatever.

http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Wireless-Keyboard-Multi-Touch-920-003070/dp/B005DKZTMG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1349795587&sr=8-1&keywords=wireless+keyboard+with+touchpad

If I use it with a regular mouse would the keyboard be decent for gaming?

it has no numpad and missing a few other keys

just get that and a normal keyboard swap between the two

if that's what you plan on doing it's fine

not like you can play properly when relaxed anyway or sitting on a couch, or laying down.

I wouldn't bother, you should get the alienware brand keyboard as they are obviously best.

If you're looking for something to control your TV with and you have an Android device I would suggest looking into a Touchpad app that turns your phone's touchscreen into a touchpad and keyboard for your computer.

Every keyboard is good for gaming. Its literally the least important thing unless its malfunctioning.

Yup. I laugh at people who spend a ton of money on "gaming keyboards." It makes no sense to me.

There are certaintly freatures that make gaming equipment useful or attractive to certain people, but for me, I have my $12 logitech keyboard and simple 5 button mouse will a toggle free-scrolling wheel.
