Is upgrading my GPU worth it?

I currently have this set-up

Intel Pentium E5200 Dual-Core @2.5GHz

Nvidia GeForce 8800GTS512.

4gb ram

400w Corsair PSU

I was thinking about getting a 5770. Would it make a big difference over my 8800GTS? Or is my processor gonna weigh it down to the point where I will see no increase?

Get the 5770 and OC the CPU and you'll be fine.Duckman5

You should look at, IMHO, upgrading your CPU and motherboard as well as your PSU. You still have a decent GPU for games that are being released.

id step down if anything to an hd 5750 :P and oc cpu :P

don't bother the 8800 can still play basically every game on high settings. wait for something better. imprezawrx500
