My dad loves racing games, especially trackmania series (I Have no idea as to why is that). Anyway he loves technology so we have lots of toys lying around xD
Why do people in online games assume we are all like 15? Why do theyassume that anyone over 20doesn't or can't (or doesn't have a right to) play games? I'm 40 & I play as often as possible.
Plus if everyone was above 20 perhaps those online games would be much nicer to play.
my used to be and still is abit i trying to get him to play warhammer 40k dawn of war but he keeps saying he will but he won't breaking a promise he is just to look at his dead lot of people who did one thing noticable and that was breed.
my dad is not, he always trys to make more money and always say that if he ever started he knows he won't stop, its more of a fact that he is trying to get me to quit, but that wont really happen anytime soon :D
My dad used to be a "gamer"... ok, maybe not a real gamer, but at least he did play a few computer games back in the good ol' Amiga days... both my parents loved Boulder Dash, which they played a lot. But ever since our Amiga died he hasn't touched any games... but mother still plays card and board games on the computer though
I'm teaching my sister to become a gamer. She has played through Twilight Princess, Ocarina of Time and Oblivion for now. She also reads Ctrl+Alt+Del :D
My dad used to play games like Dune II, Doom II, and Wolfenstein 3D, but that was a long time ago... Unfortunately, he has so far refused my attempts to introduce him to newer games. :(
My dad was a gamer, he bought a NES when it was first released en played it all the time (Mario, Mega Man and stuff); that(s how I got started of course but after a few year's he just stopped. after that I bought a playstation and after that became a pc gamer, but he never started gaming again.
To bad actually, ik would have been nice to game together with my dad.
Well , in any case my kids will have a gaming dad :D
You lucky SOBs... mine would ask around how to turn on the PC and still today he would ask how to operate the Cable TV remote... it sux being the only gamer in the house. It makes me look like a slackoff and a rebel. :\

Sometime in the past my dad did use to play some rally games every now and then, not recently tho. Not that I care since I don't even live with my parents anymore.
I've tried to introduce gaming to my parents in the past but they just can't get into the KB/M control scheme and they don't like the violence in games at all, still they never stopped me from playing gory games.
I feel sorry for anybody who doesn't have a gamer family member...Funkyhamster
Hey thanks very much FH lol. Yup, that's pretty much my story right there. Most of my friends quitted gaming after high school too so I feel really lonely IRLnowadays as a gamer :x

my dad used to be a pretty good at oldies like Quake, Starcraft, Warcraft I&II, and Diablo, but now he gets at most30 minutes of gaming in per week but sometimes he plays some FPS or RTS games with me.......until hishead gets blown off or his base gets nuked lol
I my parents came from a 3rd world country, where electronic gaming was non-existence. They don't understand the point of video games and reckon it's a waste of time (they're probably right). My dad hates it when I play too much video games, but my mum is a lot more lenient.

I know I'll be a gamer forever, even when I become a parent. I just love gaming. It won't bother me if my kids never get into gaming and believe I'm a nerdy old fart (LoL).
My dad doesn't game, but he does watch my brothers and I play some. The best part was when he recognized Command and Conquer: Renegade as having the same units from Command and Conquer. I was surprised!
