I downloaded the demo today. It took 4 hours, but every second was worth it.
The graphics are on par with Bioshock, only with better motion blur and lighting.
The controls are fps, but the feel almost like Armed Assault. Loose and realistic.
Did you like Painkiller? This is the next logical step.

No, I don't care much for Painkiller. It's kind of dull in a way that I can't really explain. Anyways....
I tried out the demo and here are my thoughts, take them as you want:
I don't know how to put it, but something felt like it was missing from that game....
I don't enjoy doing little things that are required to progress a game forward, like you have to on some console games. For instance, when you're decending down the man-hole and you have to press the correct direction button, otherwise you fall to your death or you get the crap beat out of you. Leave that kind of game play for the dumbed down games released on consoles. Don't insult PC gamers with things like that when you port your game....I applaude you for your efforts to keep the players involved some way or another, but it's just not something I want to do.
The graphics look nice and it ran great on my PC with everything maxed out. The game felt a little slow. I suppose I should word that better:
The characters you controlled felt slow, compared to the enemies that moved with grace and flew across the screen. I'm used to being able to keep up with enemies/NPCs in FPS and not feel like my attacks or my ability to follow enemiesare hindered, just to add difficulty to the game.
The control set-upwas easy to use and I didn't have any issues with it. The atmosphere of the game was designed well and the overall setting was ok.
The AI of your comrades....well, lacked a bit. I could be shooting at an enemy and they'd clearly jump in my path of fire or, they'd stand there and take bullets from the enemieslike nothing was happening and they wouldn't move or find cover.
In all honesty, I might pick this up in the bargin bin...I wouldn't spend anymore then maybe $15 on this game.
I'm glad there are those that like the game, but I'm just not one of those guys that cares too much for it.
