I downloaded the demo today. It took 4 hours, but every second was worth it.

The graphics are on par with Bioshock, only with better motion blur and lighting.

The controls are fps, but the feel almost like Armed Assault. Loose and realistic.

Did you like Painkiller? This is the next logical step.

I've got the same problem an x800xl over here, I'm suspecting the same issue as many of us had with Bioshock, no Shader Model 2.0 support -_-.

Hopefully, if developers weren't so darn lazy, I know our cards can run this game, not at max settings but an x800xl can do quite a lot.

Someone made a thread, he said he had a x800, and it looks like the game requires a SM 3.0 card.

Edit: lol looks like he already replied to you. :P

personally, i thought the graphicswere better than bioshock by a decent margin.if you look closely, even@ 1600x1200 and highest detail settings, there are some textures in bioshock which look bloated, blocky, and pixelated. overall, i thought jericho had a slightly more visceral feel, more "in your face action". i was impressed enough to play it twice :o

Granted that you are entitled to your opinion...but just saying that something is crap without giving any reasons doesn't justify your opinion. You need to give reasons why you think it's bad, otherwise people won't take your opinion seriously.

Then pretty soon down the road when you say another is crap, people will remember that you're one of the posters that doesn't explain his reasoning and they'll ignore your thoughts, instead of actually paying attention to you.

Just my two cents.

I'm impressed with the engine. The game runs at 30-40 fps @1024x768 with everything maxed out on my PC (P4 2.8, x1950pro agp, 1.5 gb ram). What's most impressive is how steady the framerates are. Although I don't get super high framerates, it never drops below 30 which keeps the action smooth. I would say that this game is more optimized than most PC only games.

People are saying its a crap port but im trying to figure out what about it makes it a crap port? Most crappy ports have bugs and really bad looking graphics. This demo for being a demo was very stable and look very good.

Personally, I don't take ANYBODY seriously when they say thing are "crap" or completely "sucks". Especially when the game seems to be getting alot of praise. Maybe it's not thier style? Maybe the gameplay doesn't do it for them? Not impressed with the art direction? Ok...perfectly fine complaints, but the second you deem the game "crap" and pretend it is an utter failure and disregard it for having any good or redeeming features, you become an idiot in my eyes.

I couldn't get it to install for me so I played the 360 version. Anyway it just didn't like it that much, and no I''m not talking about controls or visuals. It just didn't impress me.

I played the demo today, and I have mixed feelings. It seems like it might be an exciting game, and it is visually pleasing to the eyes. The downside for me is that the controls felt jumpy and the screens were so dark that it was sometimes difficult to distinguish what was what. I think if I spent more time with the game, I could get used to the controls. I won't be rushing out to purchase it as soon as it is released.

My main problem with the demo is that it is so short, it's hard to get a real good feeling about the game. I wish it was a little longer. I will definitely wait for some reviews first.

No, I don't care much for Painkiller. It's kind of dull in a way that I can't really explain. Anyways....

I tried out the demo and here are my thoughts, take them as you want:

I don't know how to put it, but something felt like it was missing from that game....

I don't enjoy doing little things that are required to progress a game forward, like you have to on some console games. For instance, when you're decending down the man-hole and you have to press the correct direction button, otherwise you fall to your death or you get the crap beat out of you. Leave that kind of game play for the dumbed down games released on consoles. Don't insult PC gamers with things like that when you port your game....I applaude you for your efforts to keep the players involved some way or another, but it's just not something I want to do.

The graphics look nice and it ran great on my PC with everything maxed out. The game felt a little slow. I suppose I should word that better:

The characters you controlled felt slow, compared to the enemies that moved with grace and flew across the screen. I'm used to being able to keep up with enemies/NPCs in FPS and not feel like my attacks or my ability to follow enemiesare hindered, just to add difficulty to the game.

The control set-upwas easy to use and I didn't have any issues with it. The atmosphere of the game was designed well and the overall setting was ok.

The AI of your comrades....well, lacked a bit. I could be shooting at an enemy and they'd clearly jump in my path of fire or, they'd stand there and take bullets from the enemieslike nothing was happening and they wouldn't move or find cover.

In all honesty, I might pick this up in the bargin bin...I wouldn't spend anymore then maybe $15 on this game.

I'm glad there are those that like the game, but I'm just not one of those guys that cares too much for it.
