This is my second build but its not going as well as the first. I connected the processor, heatsink/fan, ram, video card(which i went and bought a new one after there was no image the first time so thats not the problem), and connected the dvd drive and hard drive both via SATA and but them in the two primary spots separtely. Any ideas what would cause the fans to start spinning and sound like its booting up yet no image appears on the monitor like nothing is connected?RipPistons2221
No beeps?
Check your VGA card & monitor & make sure the Processor Fan's cable is connected with the motherboard
i reseated the memory and it turns on now but when i get to the blue windows setup screen, the monitor acts like theres nothing connected again

Even though you can get it to boot, The memory is probably incompatible with the motherboard.
Newer bios's might fix it.
What are the specs of this PC?
I don't want to sound patronising, but your not accidently using DDR RAM with a Core 2 Duo processor...?
