amazing game and stuff, but there's 2 glaring flaws:

1. there is NOTHING to spend money on. at the end, there is no motivation to make the deal and get the money, because money is useless, and you already have loads

2.there's a prison, but no prison break mission? how could they have let that slip? it would have been an amazing last mission. i was really expecting it, and was quite surprised when it didn't happen. the only thing that could have topped 3 leaf clover would have been this.

Without spoiling too much there's a prison related mission in The Lost and the Damned add on.

And yeah I suppose the money is just there for all the free roaming you might wanna do later on.

The money could be spend on buying thousands of ammo when you complete the game at 100% and it removes the ammo cap. And the prison is a venue of a mission from the Episodes From Liberty City DLC.

ties in with the lack of character development too. despite the amount of wealth you amass and the progress you make through the criminal hierarchy, niko remains just a glorified errand boy. i always thought it would have been cool to be able to buy businesses and property and for niko to develop into some sort of powerful crime lord

Good job on finishing the game, now try modding some of the cars, there is plenty of cool mods out there.

Remember GTA Vice City and San Andreas? I wish the next GTA series feature a gameplay so we can buy a business (Vice City) and house.

indeed.

it would also help with the problem san andreas and iv shared in that the plot (and i use the word loosely for san andreas!) stagnates and the direction of the game gets lost amongst a bunch of unconvincing, unmemorable characters and repetitive mission types. being able to buy businesses and then have missions relative to the new business would help solve the character development problem and the plot losing its momentum. well, that's my theory anyway :D

I agree with you. It would have been fun if you could buy some more property or something, at least.
