Just give us Battlefield 3 already

Just give us this already! And make it PC exclusive. If it was made like BF2, just with better graphics, some new maps, vehicles and maybe a few more kits. (Still the some of the best maps should be kept, like Strike at Karkand, Gulf of Oman and Wake Island) It'dd be the best selling and the most played game for the next years.

No fancy perks or customization please, just like the old days! (But without the incredibly slow loading times from BF2)

I hope for 2 things, that BC 3 doesn't get announced first, and if it does then they'll keep that trash off the PC and give us BF 3 while they release BC 3 on consoles, but I doubt that will happen :/ (the 2nd, the 1st might happen).DanielDust

Crysis isn't that hard to run if you don't go LOLFULLHIGH 8x AA

When I played it first some years ago it ran fine a HD 2600 Pro, 500 MB of RAM and a 2 Ghz dualcore. At medium high settings, however that's offtopic.

I'm not saying it has to be the best of best graphics, just something decent, with the same type of gameplay as BF2.

And we have nothing to thank console gaming for, if it wasn't for console gaming we'dd be way longer ahead tech-wise and yet it would be more optimized than most of the games are today.

My rig is jsut fine thank you i can run crysis on high settings so its fine. Now this is the first generation where i can remember that i can build a 500-600 dollar computer and pretty much max out almost every game with the exception of crysis. Honestly i don't really mind the lower system requirements, as more people that own a PC can actually play the game without having to spend so much money on some upgrades. Becasue developers have to make sure the game runs on the consoles which is last gen PC hardware it makes it more accesible in the pc market as well. The straight conosle porting is unacceptable but in terms of the low system requriements, you can thank conosle gaming. Last gen becasue there were so many insanely good games i had to constantly tweek my system or add some more ram. my Pentium 4 and 66oogt 1gb of ram ran doom 3 and Half-life 2 really well but hen BF2 came out then fear came out, then quake 4 came out in jsut 2-3 years my computer couldbarely play those game requiring me to spend more and more money on some ram upgrades and a video card upgrade. The ram and video card is from 3 years ago, and my processor is from 2 years ago and i can max out 99 percent of my games adn this hardware isn't even top of the line. That is why i thank consoles, for making pc gmaing a little more affordable.

I hope if they do do it they get rid of perks because thinking about it, BF3 should be more of a "hardcore" game that still is massively fun but rewards the more skilled and tactical teams. I would also like to see the current damage/destruction thing actually be fully real time and not scripted. I like BC2 but for BF3 I think take the gamble a bit and give us the chance to have more physics going off which could massive add to the gameplay of it. Instead of knowing exactly when a building is going to come down you could just blast out the botttom supports and watch it fall over to one side.

Also I would want the most guns they could possibly put in :D

My only requirements for BF3 are that they drastically improve the net code and hit detection. I'm sick of every gun being a pea shooter in BF2.

And for the love of christ, spend a good deal of time optimizing the game.

and as far as the button mashing, what games are you playing seriously??, And the breedinga generation of idiots, yeah becasue you know consoles have sex and make babies and make stupid kids, maybe its the overall gaming media and over corporatization of the gaming market in general that affects all of us console and PC gamers, maybe they are the true enemy and not "those consolites over there". Mad publishers and big gaming media are the real reasons PC gaming is being held back not consoles themsleves. If consoles hold back PC's so much why were the 90's and early 2000's the golden age of PC gaming, why did the PC still remain dominant even though the PS2 was the most popular console during 2000-2006.AlphaJC

Its going to be as bad as bad company 2 wound up being. No mod tools, lack of maps and admin abilities kills a game after a month for PC.

The game is too restrictive and BF2 will be as bad if not worse. Plus DICE never learns from their mistakes and it will be a crappy delayed release full of bugs that they will have to patch like crazy. They release Betas for marketing reasons not to improve the game. When they learn they need gamer input during production phase then there games will get better. Swedish developers are great programmers but terrible at user friendly bug free designing.

I want Battlefield 3 as well, but I have serious doubts about being able to run it. I'm more patient to wait for it because of that fact.

I wouldn't actually wouldn't mind a Console version of BF3, just as long as isn't a BC2 replica with unnecessary language and all that, that kinda turned me off.

BC2 Isn't trash, just gets boring quite fast as an above poster said; no mod tools, map maker, anything. However frostbite was never meant for PC.

funny cuz after the last update, it started working quite a bit better for me. Had some knife glitches b4 but much less now
