My mom just ordered that for me as a suprise, and there not very technical savy so they go by what ever the HSN guy says, (lol) It's suppose to arrive in 11 days.

Right onto the question.

I know the graphics hard is a bit crap, but could i upgrade this to a 8800GT In the future without getting a new mobo?

Will this run CSS easily, TF2, and WoW just fine?

I see no problem in it running the games I wanted, but I havn't been keeping up with PCs like I should of been.

Your more than likely going to have to upgrade the PSU before you can upgrade the video card.

Other then that, it'll play SOME games on the lowest of the low setting.

Can't tell until it arrives but i suspect you'll need a new mobo, case and PSU. The graphics is intergrated and so will struggle with pretty much all gaming, it should manage CSS and WoW but i doubt TF2.

There is no way that you are going to be able to upgrade to a 8800 GT with that computer. You will most likely have to buy a low profile video card because the case is so small. You just will not be able to fit an 9800 GT (they don't sell the 8800 GT anymore but the 9800 GT is the same card) into that tiny case.

Exactly, so it will be the cheapest they could get away with and so not capable of powering anymore hardware than it comes with.

You will have to open it up to find out how much wattage the power supply is. I guarantee that it's at least a 250 watt.

Also that is one of the original Phenom processors that lost the performance crown to Intel. However it certainly is adequate for what you are doing.

I just relized how small the case it, it's like an xbox.

Thanks everyone for all the quick replies, I see people on YT with the same exact specs as me running crysis, everything on medium, constant 20-30 FPS.. even though thats not what I'm doing, it makes me pretty confident that it will handle WoW no problem.

I wouldn't be suprised if I couldn't run tf2 at a constant 40fps, my friend has a REALLY nice build, and his FPS still randomly drops like mad, although its probly a problem with his system.

Im scared to finally make the switch to vista, after hearing so many terrible things about it lol

What you guys don't understand is, if the PC doesn't run crysis maxed out, 8x AA.. ect you think its a bad PC.

You have to take into consideration, that I'm not that much of a hardcore gamer, I actually play runescape, and have for 8 years, I've played WoW before for a year or so I just want it to be able to handle the games I want to play as stated earlier, not once in my life do i plan on playing crysis.

Yeah, I understand that but my mom thought it was a really good PC, and i don't want to be a dick or anything to her, aslong as the PC will do it what i want it to do, then I'm still happy.

+ The built in TV Tuner is a really good add on for me, as I planed on buying a capture card before, but now I can use this to record my xbox, so its another +1 for me.

What a piece of junk that thing is, just cancel the order, an 8200? Integrated, lol,

You could even end doing more by buying a phat ps3 and installing linux on it.

Computers like that is what is killing pc gaming.

Hey a free PC is a free pc and as he said he isn't a hardcore gamer.

I see a viable option for a graphics card though: 9600GT Low-Profile

Just make sure you have enough power.

TC just do one favor to yourself, cancel the order, reuse any hardware you can if you have and buy the components you need.

If you don't know how to install the components and don't know someone to put them for you you maybe end up better by buying a $600 laptop, because at least those come with a 9600m or 3850m.

Well have you considered the mac mini? Or the imac, duno, they can run Wow.

@OP: If your not a hardcore gamer than why do you want to upgrade to an 8800GT in the first place?!

Does World of Warcraft require an 8800GT card?! I guess not!

Well for the kind of PC it is, it will simply bottleneck the 8800 to that kind of processor. You know you need a PSU as well. If you try putting such card on a low PSU your PC will simply shut down. This is what happened to me with my old 570 Watt PSU, I got a Corsair 850Watt now and issues such as shut downs went away. You wouldn't want to be in the sameboat as me.

However, you might be alright with an 8600GT, that will certainly run propery on that computer.

Although, you have to ask yourself one question "am I really not a hardcore gamer"?

Cos this is extremely important. You may say that your a casual gamer, although if your playing or wanting to play heavy games like Crysis, Call of Duty 4, Frontlines Fuel of War, etc then I would definitely not consider you a casual gamer!!!

It depends on the games you play, if you want to play WOW, Diablo 2, FIFA, PES, Chessmaster. Only then could I consider you a casual gamer!
