Killing Floor 2 and Gore

So, I hadn't been paying attention but Killing Floor 2 is a thing now. PC Gamer's Wes Fenlon visted Tripwire Interactive to try it out.

What immediately interested me was the emphasis on gore and by the sounds of it there has been a lot of work put into it.

Oh hells yes, this sounds amazing.

Tripwire have really proven themselves as a developer, Killing Floor and Red Orchestra 2 were great, and the amount of extra support they put into all their games is unbelievable.

I can't wait to see this game in action and have more fun popping Zeds.

Hopefully they take note from left4dead and create more interesting monsters. Aside from the screamer they tend to just all walk in a straight line. Probably understandable given they don't have Valve resources. But given the sales and the fact they are much less a small mod studio now, I expect more in all honestly.

Think I might install the game again

I played KF1 for a total of two hours before I uninstalled. Hopefully they greatly improved from there.

If they don't use a new engine im not buying. if they use the same engine as RO2 I am not buying. I hate that engine with a passion.

I'm pretty sure the article says its using UE3 with a modified lighting engine
