I'm trying to upgrade my area 51 m7700 laptop from alienware, the part im trying to upgrade is the processor. im trying to get a intel 2 duo 800 mhz fsb. my processor socket is lga775 800 fsb. i was wondering if i can really upgrade my laptop?

I think then you're looking at the E4xxx series.

ive never heard of anyone upgradeing a processor in a laptop, usally just RAM. PST me if you get it to work

i found out what e4xxx is and the speed it kinda low aint it. well all i need to know is does my laptop support those 800 fsb processor. because i dont really know if laptops can handle those processor very well.
