I want to get a new video card for my laptop ( I have a Dell E1505), but my problem is this is the first laptop I have ever owned. I want to know what is required to get a new video card for my laptop. Currently I have an ATI X1400 in it, but I want to put the new GeForce 8700M GT.

Will this card fit? Will I need a bigger PSU? What are the specifications to get this card to run on my laptop?

lol your getting desktops and laptops mixed up laptops cannot change video card apart from like 1 in every 500 in which finding a graphics card is imposiible and expensive. i suggest waiting for asus' external gpu. in the mean time get more memory thats the best you can do.

Damnit, than why would they make that new notebook video card (GeForce 8700M GT)? I really wanted a new card :[

Oh well, when does that external GPU come out?
