large scale multiplayer

I can think of Battlefield 4 which really is not fun at all to me and Eve that is average. I'm wondering if there are any other multiplayer games that are actually good with largescale battles and gameplay. It would be nice to play a multiplayer game that is actually balanced and fun and runs well.

RO2 is pretty fucking good

Planetside 2 has some good battles in it, its free to play as well.

company of heroes 2....it is free for the weekend and awesome. if you decide to buy, it is only 13 bucks on steam atm....

Planetside 2 is great! Roll with a big platoon at first, you will be in huge battles and have a lot of fun

I couldn't get in to Planetside 2, it just seemed like a huge grind. Haven't played it in over a year though.

are you looking for shooters? or strategy games? as @KHAndAnime said RO2 is a great alternative to BF4, same player count but you actually get teamwork. Planetside 2 is a bit messy if you don't join a outfit or whatever, just as anarchic as BF4 but instead of squads you get huge groups of like 50-100 guys roaming around.
