Okay, two questions here.

First out of 10 how is this build

PNY 8800GT

Intel Q6600

Gigbyte X38-DQ6

Antec P182 Case

Kingston HyerX 2GB (2x) for a total of 4gbs

Western Digital 750gb HDD

Sony-Nec Optical Drive 20x

Thermaltake 850watt

Question 2

Is overclocking a multi-core processor different then overclocking a singal core?

Overclocking a mult-core is exactly the same as overclocking a single-core.

You have to overclock each core individually......... no no, just kidding, it is the same.

That rig looks pretty good. I agree with Louie 9/10

64-bit OS i presume? Although I really don't see the point in 4gb of ram unless you use like to have 10 versians of oracle forms running at the same time.

That's pretty much what I have. Im planning to get a Coolit water cooling system soon though and I will overclock my Q6600.

9/10 stock, runs Crysis well on "high" DX9 mode on Vista x64.

High on DX9 run fantastic, but with DX10 turned on, you get like a 30% drop in performance, it becomes unplayable.
