This is easily one of my most wanted games.... BUT there is one thing, that I think still has not been confimred. The devs said that they will have automatic voice promts, like when you put your crosshair over a boss zombie, your character in the game will automatically yell it out to everyone like "Incoming boss zombie" ( or what ever they say ) but they still have not confirmed if there is voice chat in this game or not.

If there is no voice chat, I won't be NEARLY has hyped for this game, cause dyeing because you were trying to type to your friends that there is a zombie coming = lame.

Imagine trying to use some teamwork and discuss everyone's health and who needs it more in the heat of a battle...... impossible. This is gonna directly take away from teamwork with out voice chat.

What shooter in the past few years HASN'T had voice chat? I think it's a given, which is why it wasn't even mentioned. And since it's based on the Source engine that already has integrated voice chat in every game or mod... well, I'm not worried about it :)

Last I saw of this game it looks great... it's probably not being hyped as much simply because everyone's focused on all the heavy hitters coming this fall. It's a good thing the game was delayed, as it wouldn't stand a chance for a fall/christmas release. It seems very team-oriented, which will be great as long as you don't have retarded teammates :)

Well I retract my previous statement about the medpacks, and trying to figure out who needs it :P

IGN just put up four new video's of Left 4 Dead and in them it shows that at the bottome of your screen you can see everyones character, and life bar :P

theres the link for the movies.

I´d rather have them remove the player stats from the screen, I hate any and all HUD.

Besides, people´s health is visible by their movement speed which I find way cooler.

I am mainly worried about how the friendly npcs operate and how long the wait will be each you die. I hate waiting in line to play.

Liek if it takes several minues each time, I can virtually leave teh server and join another game before that, know what I mean

it seems obvious that there will be voice chat. in 360, DEFINITELY, in pc, the same as cs or ANY other source or hl1 game/mod
