Haters gon' hate :D I don't hate any game. Why should I? I find a game either interesting or boring, but why hate it? No reason. Except if it's a game that offends me with it's content... Haven't played one so far.Crimsader

true, hate is probably too strong a word to use. the last truly awful game i played would be far cry 2

GTA4, Saints row, Cod4, Lost planet

There isn't a game I've played that I absolutely hate, although I do regret buying the Witcher and Red Alert 3. Oh, and Defcon, but I got that in that nice pack of 4 games for 5 bucks, and I like the other games so far, so I won't complain.

I'm at least happy that nobody hates Stalin VS Martians...Crimsader

I hate:

Splinter Cell: Double Agent

GTA 3 through 4

Rainbow Six: Vegas 1 & 2

I dislike:

Spore

Splinter Cell: Conviction

Bioshock

Arma 2

Team Fortress 2

Dawn of War 2

Prince of Persia 2009

OFP: Dragon Rising

I love/like:

Too many to mention

Resident Evil 4, Turning Point: Fall of Liberty, and Merchants of Brooklyn/Drug Wars are the only three games to get outright hate from me.

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, god that is one horrible game.

That was actually my favorite COD game. I also prefer single player.

Dungeon Lords. Unpolished, unfinished POS. It felt more like a $40 beta. :x

I dislike stalker.

I despise Final Fantasy XI.

There are very few games I hate, but I would include Rome: Caesar's Will and Shattered Union.

Why would I hate a game?

Deus Ex... not trying to be attention seeking, but I honestly can't get into it. I re-instal it every three months or so, but it just doesn't do it for me (yes, I'm beyond the first 3 hours).

EDIT: I guess I hate it because I want to like it xD

Well I don't know about you, but when a game utterly fails to meet expectations, actually has fewer features than the originally promised, has crappy gameplay, and utterly fails to be near entertaining then that game becomes hated by me.

I follow the development and research all the games I buy so I am never disapointed by a game. There are some games that I bought on an impulse becouse they were very cheap, but they were very cheap so even if they are sub par its no reason to hate them.

I don't know if this is off-topic, but I hate some games, games that people mentioned above like Spore and Farcry that i paid $50 each.

WhenI pay $50 for a game, I pay that money for the entertainment that the publisher (of the game) promised. If I don't get entertained by the game that I paid for, I have a right to hate and rage.

I understand people finger-pointing and saying "haters gonna hate", but before saying that out loud, please think why people started to hate.

• Streets of Sim City. I thought driving around the cities I build with Sim City would be awesome. It wasn't.
• Star Wars Rebellion. I haven't figured out how to play this game to this day.
• Dogs of War. It was a very underwhelming and broken game.

Counterstrike and TF2, because they are so popular but there's not much depth to the gameplay like say ETQW. AVP and FEAR2 also for dumbing down the gameplay of two of my favorite shooters.

And last, but not least:

It's so horrible that it's been deemed as bad luck to even mention the name of this game.

Star Trek Online. Horrible gameplay, ugly ships, no redeeming qualities whatsoever!

There is barely a semblance of the UFP in the game, and the state it was released in was so ridiculously unfinished, I truley felt like I had been punched in the gut by a Klingon.
