List the Games You Absolutely Hate

\What was the whole hype with Spore? But for me. the only game that dissapointer me was Demigod. it had such good potencial but the multiplayer connection sucked =/ takeiteazy3

It was supposed to be an involved game about evolution, with complex procedurally generated animations, intelligent population of planets(think that fit the theme of your planet), like double the amount of creators, it was all in all supposed to be much more complex and involved than the kiddy game that EA turned it into.

Other than that the actual game (not counting the hype) was bad; with poor replayability, repetative grinds for all stages, and half of the game's stages being poorly made in general, the game ended up sucking.

For me its Spore and have addon also :(. X3 conflict, Saint row 2, dead space. These are games i got sick of after 1-2hrs and regret buying.

2. OFP:DR (Thank you for taking my favourite game, OFP, and ruining it's name codemasters!)

3. World of Warcraft (So many better things out there to spend your money on)

4. Modern Warfare 2

Battlefield Bad Company 2(multiplayer only) and every other game made by Dice.

Well if you liked the game, good for you. I personally think its overated. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for realism and still waiting for that pefect realistic military sim but Arma 2 just isnt it. It is horribly optimized and lags even on my powerful com and the AI is just downright horrendous. I've been incapacitated and my team mates would just kneel beside me not doing anything even when I'm asking for help from them. After awhile, they'd run off and get killed somewhere. The ai just downright destroys the realism in the game. The only thing good about the game is the mission creator.

To hate a game, I'd have to be forced to play it and this haven't happened yet so I simply uninstall it (I'm a proud PC gamer), but lame sound effects and cookie-cutter maps will usually have me do that much faster ; also on the rare PC games that you can't use a 1st person camera, having a bad camera will be a bore but less than the former (sound fx & maps).

If you have such a tight budget that you can't use realist sounds, use the most good quality ones you can (5 realist instead of 20 so-so) and use the interface to alert the player instead, flashing screens are pretty effective. If making interesting maps is too hard, have another hobby/business.

Gameplay is really important but I'm not sure I'll even give a chance to that if the former elements is lacking.

I cant belive some people are saying ARMA2, that game is amazing for those who like realistic shooters. Its just not for everyone thats forsure, you need alot of patience for it, you cant run and gun.

The S.T.A.L.K.E.R games, Assassins Creed 1, MW2, and almost every EA Sports games.

I'd say that the original Operation Flashpoint still holds that title. If Arma 2 had included as good of a single player campaign as OFP did, I'd probably agree with you.

Not much Modern Warfare 2? God I hate that game so much.

Oblivion and Fallout 3. Boredom at it's finest.

I generally dislike Bioshock as well.

Japanse/anime games or whatever. I just can't stand that style!

Project IGI. That game has major flaw that prevents it from being any fun. No Save Feature(not even a save point) in the first one even though the missions are extremely long, and unrealistically tough enemies in the 2nd.

I have no room for hate on my mind. I'm always positive.

I don't know if hate is what I would say, but highly disappointed or regret purchasing would be:

Wow - just got bored with the tedious grind and unbelieveable amount of idiots on servers. And to think I was paying a monthly fee for that agravation!

Two Worlds was just awful!

Arma 2: OA's campaign reminds me of the good ole OFP campaigns... just has that same kind of story line.

Not really hate per say, but just not a fan of mmorpgs.

Hmm, let's see: most JRPGs- dungeon-crawling, turn-based boredom at it's finest.

WWII games-yeah, yeah, we got it- nazis are evil and americans are the heroes.

Warcraft III and Starcraft- overrated as hell. The fact that most of my friends play them as if they were the only games in existence and constantly talk about them is what really fuels my hate for those two.

CoD 4 was so cool in multiplayer and CoD WaW had this nazi zombie mod that was very cool. Then came Modern Warfare 2... now you can do a whole game with a stupid knife or with some dual-rangers (shotguns) and you face a whole team with Noob-Tubes... where's the fun?!

Another disappointement for me was Resident Evil 5 :? When I shot, I need to move... I hate the fact that in RE5 you have to stand still to aim and shoot. Not my game.

Oblivion.. Seriously one of the greatest disapointments ever.. I was expecting a rpg.. What I got is a weaksauce action adventure games with pretend psuedo rpg elements cropped around a story that can be easily summarised within two sentences clearly.sSubZerOo

Counterstrike and TF2, because they are so popular but there's not much depth to the gameplay like say ETQW. AVP and FEAR2 also for dumbing down the gameplay of two of my favorite shooters.

You guys ever notice how there wasnt another expansion pack after galactic expansion..Its like ea just gave up on sport instead of trying to fix it..They couldve fixed the problems it had with expansions an chose not to..What a waste of a game..Followed that thing for five years also..All the delays it had to finally getting our hands on the game an bam it stunk..The first part where your a cell is the best part of the whole game..

Wouldnt say i hate x3 im still going to give it a shot one day..Just havent dived into it yet..

star trek legacy im shocked no one mentioned this game..It had so much hope an the devs just took the fun out of the game..They couldve added some rpg elements an the game wouldve took off..Some of the game play isnt bad..It couldve been so much more..Some moron dev decided to remove the rpg elements..

Oblivion what a let down..The tiered system just didnt cut it for me..I want to know im up againts a tough foe..Id like to feel like a god near lvl 16,17..Thats a true rpg..Dont give me watered down games..Think thats why there stalling now on esfive..Kind of sad wanted this game to be like morrowind so much..Juse add the things they did with the oblivion package..

This is the PC & Mac games forum. And i don't know man Read Dead Redemption is the probably the best game of the year so far, and to be honest i don't see anything topping it.

i hate what has happened to the call of duty series, that's about all i can think of right now.
