Hey guys sorry to bother you all. For some reason my computer takes forever to turn on when I push the power button. What happens is that when i push the button, instead of turning on with a the green light, it blinks an orange light for about 1-? minutes and then makes the sound as if the computer was about to turn on but then turns back off, which after that when i push the power button it turns on immediatly (yesterday I had waited for more than five minutes). Any ideas whats going on and how can I fix the problem. I use a Dell Dimension E510 computer and to me I think it is in good condition. Thank you for any replies in advance.
It might be overheating, check if the fan is working. I had the same problem with my laptop, I found out that the fan wasn't working so I opened it up and found out that it wasn't plugged into the motherboard.
