Looking for something Unique or breath-taking, or just plain dang fun

I have recently looked at my game collection, and i realized that 3/4ths of them i never play, and most of them are typical FPSes, and I have become bored with most FPSes, excluding TF2 because of how unique it is. Is there anything out there worth trying that is Different enough to be worth a try? I was thinking also of getting World of Warcraft, but im not sure if it is worth it if I can find something equally enjoyable.

Have you tried the source mods: Dystopia or Eternal Silence? They are not typical FPS games. Plus they are free and it looks like you got the source engine, so they are worth a shot since its not going to cost you any money. Everyone seems to be hyped over Prototype, maybe you would enjoy that, I haven't personally played it.

Prototype just came out and its pretty awesome. I know its a geeky thing to say but I feel like a super bad ass when playing that. The character is so powerful but still balanced [like you still die if you stand around getting shot at too much] . The game is relentless.

Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena

I haven't actually played this game yet, but upon purchasing this game you also get a revamped copy of Escape from Butcher Bay - which was one hell of a game to play on the PC or Xbox (although, I greatly dislike using controllers and I prefer the PC version). Essentially you get two games for the price of one.

You get to sneak and kill and you get to shoot and kill. If you haven't played Escape from Butcher Bay, this is your chance.

if u want 2 play the fastest fps ever i suggest a halflife mod called natural selection

its a mix btw fast pace fps a rts if ur the commander of the marines or aliens gameplay

or if u dont like the graphics you can look into getting natural slection 2 which will be out fall of this year

Grand Theft Auto San Andreas is really fun. savetehhaloz

I found Dark Messiah to be a lot of fun. I loved the combat and I got it cheap. It's unique for the most part. Most games like it don't go into as much depth with the combat system. Mount and Blade is a whole lot of fun as well.

If you haven't played any stealth games, I've heard Thief is pretty good. There's also Pandora Tomorrow, which isn't a FPS, but it's still quite good.

Penumbra is quite unique, but I don't know if it's what you're looking for. There aren't any effective weapons in the game, just your brain.
