Looking suggestion for an excellent and up-to-date tycoon game please...

I missed to play a tycoon game again after 3 years spent for RTS, RPG and the magically never-boring Battlefield Series!

           Any suggestion for a good tycoon game?

Actually, my friend suggest me to buy Zoo Tycoon 2. He said that it's a good tycoon game and the exppack is still going on more and more until now. My friend isn't a gamer (well, i mean not a pure one). What do you think?

Wow how could I forget that gem :( Though I think he is looking for newer stuff which there kinda is in the form of Chris Sawyers upadte to it: Locomotion.
