Any good?  Should I get that or should I buy WOW.  Honest opinions.  I have a new juiced up machine that can handle both.  Reccomend one.  Unbiased please

You're probably only going to get biased opinions about this, either people are bored to tears with WoW, or are still enjoying the fun of exploration and levelling up and haven't experienced the endgame grind for rep and slight gear upgrades once a month.

While LOTRO is a totally fresh release that hasn't been fully explored to end game. Personally I think LOTRO shows a lot more promise, with a far superior crafting system, an inspired PvP system, stunning graphics and amazing backdrops, an intuitive quest and grouping system.

Having said that, I've played WoW from beta until a month ago, and experienced the level 60 stall, and now the level 70 stall. So my view is a little biased.

I will say that by the end of the WoW beta, I had reservations about the longevity of the game (i.e. how long I would play it). Those same reservations don't exist for me for LOTRO. I've purchased two copies myself, with the aim of perhaps running two accounts...

I liked both.  I just was tired of WoW after playing it for so long.  LOTRO, was a nice change and its nice to have so many other players your lvl again.  I would suggest LOTRO just because its newer and I think it will be easier and more fun for you.  Getting into WoW now, you run into so many high lvl guys that flame you for not knowing where a NPC is or for help with a quest.

Well , think of it that way ......... either u start from zero by yourself (WOW), or  start from zero ...with everybody else(LOTR) , giving yourself the opportunity to be one of this promising games "bigshots" ( i hope i have said that right) ........ i take the second choice..................BTW is it a PvE or PvP based game

I like many ascepts of LOTRO and even have 2 pre orders however something about it feels very generic and "bland" to me. The grahpics are beatiful so its definetely not the visuals.

i been playing LOTRO since the beta and still am today,

i cant tell u anything about the endgame BUT however i would suggest LOTRO

1)In WoW most quests include killing little animals around town THEN going back and killing the little animals boss, in LOTRO there is quest like that but most quest are VERY diffrent from each other, like for example there are some  EPIC quests(as i call them) where u get together a fellowship(party) and u actually go to some place and do an actual mission

2) the PVP, very unique PVP because its monter vs players(MPVP) where u get to pick eather monster or player and it takes u to a giant loacation where u can also do quest but 1 side of the map is monsters and other is players so its basically turf-wars

3)Most people there are EX WoW players(lol)

so ya id suggest LOTRO,

and aslo the fact that WoW didnt get as many players at LOTRO did at beta stage

I like both, if you want to start something totally new go with Lord of the Rings (also newer and better graphics), If you want a good healthy populated game get WoW.

I want to play The Lord of the Rings in network, but I can't. When I start to play, it blows up in 30 seconds. If I need some patch or crack, please tell me where I can take it or just what I have to do. Help, please.
