low range gpu

i bought this system 3years ago..

specifications:

DUAL CORE 3GHZ

1GB RAM

NVIDIA 6200 TURBOCACHE

945 CHIPSET

and now i gotmy holidays ,i want to play gta 4 n other fantastic games lyk prototype...etc.

PLEASE SUGGEST ME A GUD CONFIG THAT`D ALLOW ME A DESCENT GAMING.

i want to go for 2gb ddr 2 ram...and 9600gt 512mb and i want to change my processor as well ..to core2duo E7500...

but i dont know if my mother board will support it or not!!

AM CONFUSED...

please help me with a gud config tat`d suit my system ...

mine is a pentium d 930...socket 775 lga ....3ghz... *15 multiplier....bus speed 200 mhz...rated fsb 800mhz...

to quote jim raynor (despite me disliking blizzard entertainment): "good hunting". you can afford basicaly most higher end stuffs certainly not riding the curve but easily give my system a run for its money :P
