Macs if you want games if you get a mac for games you'll regret it big time. But on the other hand Macs are overpriced but really thin and light. But i would go for a PC Laptop for any games..
What I did was build the comp in my sig for games, then bought the cheapest laptop I could find for school work. Ended up getting a acer aspire for $399 does everything I need it to do, runs MS office, Matlab, Mathcad, and plays DVD's. Then for anything else like gaming or video encoding there is the desktop.
Arent there good laptops out there?xxxleafybugxxxof you don't mind something either big heavy and expensive or standard size with compromised gpu and still expensive.
Desktop PCs for gaming. Laptop PCs for less serious gaming. ....Mac PCs for decorations.DogswithgunsWhats not serious about it? It can handle all games, and all i need to do is buy a mouse, and a joystick and ill be good to go. I dont see whats not serious about it.
laptops do trail desktops in gaming. But a well configured laptop can handle new games quite well. And older games a some laptops will tear through. Now my desktop will max any game with ease with the exception of Crysis which I play very high at 25-30 FPS. Honestly my desktop is complete over kill for at least 90% of games at 1680x1050 rez. A well configured lap top will do fine for the not so hardcore gamer. If a laptop is a must.
