Mass Effect 2: Post-Game Stuff

Alright, I have a couple of questions to ask about the later parts of the game. First: If you choose to continue your file, is there a way to end it whenever you want after that? I am mostly concerned because I want everything I've done post-suicide mission to carry over into Mass Effect 3.

2.) After you choose to continue to wander the galaxy and do whatever, the characters interest may join them in the captains cabin at some point; When does this happen and how do you bring it about?

1. you can end the game anytime you want. as long as you save the game, whatever your shepard has done should be with the character save. some side quests you do (before and after Sudicide mission) should have certain impacts on ME3...but we'll not know this until the game come up.

2. just activate the private terminal in your cabin,,,but it's quite a boring sight tbh,,,

yeah its boring as hell all you do is cuddle and he/she sits on your lap

Ok yeah, it was kinda boring lol. But thanks for the help. Also when we were on the couch, there was a weird glitch where Miranda was standing up next to the couch and I was on the couch with my arms around the air... Weird...

On another note, once you have the option of choosing New Game + or continuing the save, if you chose to continue the save is it possible to end it and go to new game plus, as I just got the Kasumi DLC, and I'd find it pointless to have her if the mission is done.

new game/new game + = new playthrough.

I had a thing with tali after the game had finished don't judge me i wanted the gamer points.PureApollo

Haha lol, that's funny. But not that weird, as in ME1 I chose Liara as my interest... "She's so... blue!" -Space Nuts

But on another note, the guy earlier, you didn't answer my question. As a matter of fact, I have no idea what you are talking about.

So I will restate my problem: I chose to continue my file after the Suicide Mission, however I want to stop it and use the one I continued in New Game +. Is there any way to go to NG+ after you chose to continue? (Let me know if I am not being clear enough)

my understanding is that as long as you start a new game, either the default (fresh new start) or plus (importing characters) way, you "start a new game" -- the whole story begins anew.

you either contiune to play after suicide mission or start a new game (with or without an imported character)...I don't see a third option there...?
