all it does is crap on your fanbase
I'm not too worried about the ending, gameplay is what matter the most to me and the way the story is interwoven with the gameplay makes it worth playing. I clicked on a random planet and ended up finding Liara by accident, that was amazing. The world seems like it's worth exploring, the battles that are hard when you beat them are enjoyable. That fight on the elevator with Liara where the Krogan attacks you was amazing. I had to do it about 4 times, but when I beat him it actually felt like surviving a battle. I pop out from cover, turn on my adrenalin rush and let him have it while he's charging at me from across the room. He dropped dead about 2 inches in front of me while trying to take a swing.robokill
The end is fine, people just love whining over things (to be fair the end pre-extended cut was horrible because it didnt bother explaining things).
As for combat, yes ME1 can be brutal at times. Since ME2 and 3 turns a little more into cover shooters moreso than ME1, the combat can be noticeably easier, so if you really enjoy challenges, I suggest putting the difficulty on extreme for those games.

Well, either way it's irrelevant because the game's ending was fine to begin with.[QUOTE="JigglyWiggly_"]no[QUOTE="Starshine_M2A2"] I believe they call that a 'twist' and has been an effective method of storytelling since day one...Starshine_M2A2

Well, either way it's irrelevant because the game's ending was fine to begin with.I haven't played the game, so I'm not saying it was bad. I was just saying that endings can break a game.
Or make it. (Portal, etc)
Or even dat klonoa wii game, I remember playing it a few months ago and I was busy being MLG, then random sad ending out of nowhere
(oh and if anyone is bored and looks it up, dun pick the engrish version, it's 2 funny(as in terrible))
