hiz all off course many saw the launch trailer for witcher 2 and man this game look so much awesome i swear if i didn't have exams , i would buy this game right now but unfortunately i can't play until 20/7/2011 :( (last exam)

its sad, but also somewhat of a relief, that at least one developer has finally realzied that the most you can do to prevent piracy is to simply ask people not to pirate it lol. Anything more inconveniences the legit consumer

I'm playing The Witcher 2 with exams. 8) Nothing is going to stop me. That's how determined I am.. The program I'm in for my Bachelor's degree is intense but I'm glad this semester is finally almost over! (:

This message from CD Projekt RED development team touched my heart. I don't care if you call me a softy! Just for that, I'm buying another copy of the game and my second copy will be the collector's edition. Oh F that, I'll buy it from GOG. Much love to CD Projekt RED for giving us The Witcher! And soon to be, The Witcher 2.

You guys should purchase the books too. The Last Wish (The Witcher), and Blood of Elves. Must reads if you're a fan.

You know, I really enjoyed the first book, but the second book nearly put me to sleep. I can only handle so many pages of mindless political chatter before I start snoring.

Depends on how you play, but it will definitely be 20+ hours. Some say 40+. I mean, 16 different endings. (: It's gotta be pretty long.

I'm replaying The Witcher now. I'm not sure how much your game save affects The Witcher 2 but I no longer have my original game saves so I'll be replaying TW1 the entire weekend. I kinda want to get back into The Witcher world to get a bit warmed up. (:

Pre-ordered the Collector's Edition. It's with the Courier service right now. Should arrive Monday or Tuesday. Can't wait.
CD Projekt have become one of my favourite developers this gen. An incredible bunch of nice, talented individuals.

I probably won't buy it. It doesn't really interest me.

Gonna wait to see if mods tighten up the game. Don't care for the changed hud and menus, they don't look fully PC designed.

As of today (may 12), pre-orders for CD Projekt RED's The Witcher 2 have crossed the 100,000 mark. The specific figure: 111,842 as of the start of business this morning, 40 percent of which are for the Digital Premium Edition.

The first Witcher's lifetime sales add up to 1.7 million copies; the sequel's off to quite a good start then. The developer is also expecting pre-order numbers to rise "substantially" before the game's launch next week.

The PC Devs should build a statue of me at some point I think :\ Ive been buying WAY too many games lately, I have a weakness for quirky none mainstream games, or devs who care about thier userbase.

You should finish it even if you don't care about the game save. I read that depending on the choices you made in TW1, certain important characters will react differently to you. Obviously at this point, they're not revealing much due to massive spoilers. We'll soon find out Tuesday. (:

"There will be a mechanism for importing your status from the first game," one member of developer CD Projekt RED explains. "Also, players will see the choices they made in part one reflected in part two. For instance, certain characters from The Witcher might treat us differently depending on how we completed that game."
