I'm in the mood for a post apocalyptic FPS and Mtero 2033 peaked my interest. Is it worth getting now or should I wait? Is the Steam version buggy? Also maybe recommend any other games like it? Thanks.

Metro 2033 is about seven hours long and decent enough. It's fairly bug free on Steam during my playthrough. I would personally recommend Cryostasis over Metro unless you have a low spec machine. Other atmospheric games you could check out would be Bioshock or Bioshock 2, STALKER / Call of Pripyat (open world)

I liked it a lot. The only thing that held it back a little was the **** AI. Other then that it was freakin awesome. Check out the STALKER series if you want more replay value. (But not as much fun IMO)

I think the stalker games are far superior, but metro is easier to get into.

I think it's worth it.... if you want a very immersive single player experience. If you want something bigger, longer & open... grab Just Cause 2.

I cant recommend it unfortunately. It wont even run for me. First had a PHYX error. Now I finally get it running and it crashes just into the start. I have no idea what to do and I cant even sell it because its registered to my steam account. $50 BLOWN.

12 hours in length for me, great atmosphere and graphics. The gameplay is also very fun.

There are a few issues with the game from time to time (twice I fellt threw the floor). No crashes or starup issues though.

I say its worth picking up if you enjoy RIDDICK or STALKER

You still haven't given any relevant information in your older thread, so this is a biased (and ignorant) statement.

I played a little on the 360, but I think that STALKER is a better choice, despite being less pretty. It has more longevity, open world, and the fact that there is an ongoing story over 3 games gives the entire series of playability. You can get all 3 for $50 if I'm not mistaken.
