I'm in the mood for a post apocalyptic FPS and Mtero 2033 peaked my interest. Is it worth getting now or should I wait? Is the Steam version buggy? Also maybe recommend any other games like it? Thanks.

I liked it a lot. The only thing that held it back a little was the **** AI. Other then that it was freakin awesome. Check out the STALKER series if you want more replay value. (But not as much fun IMO)
I think it's worth it.... if you want a very immersive single player experience. If you want something bigger, longer & open... grab Just Cause 2.
12 hours in length for me, great atmosphere and graphics. The gameplay is also very fun.
There are a few issues with the game from time to time (twice I fellt threw the floor). No crashes or starup issues though.
I say its worth picking up if you enjoy RIDDICK or STALKER
I cant recommend it unfortunately. It wont even run for me. First had a PHYX error. Now I finally get it running and it crashes just into the start. I have no idea what to do and I cant even sell it because its registered to my steam account. $50 BLOWN.

You still haven't given any relevant information in your older thread, so this is a biased (and ignorant) statement.
I played a little on the 360, but I think that STALKER is a better choice, despite being less pretty. It has more longevity, open world, and the fact that there is an ongoing story over 3 games gives the entire series of playability. You can get all 3 for $50 if I'm not mistaken.
for 50? I say wait for a price drop, game is only 7hrs long.I'm in the mood for a post apocalyptic FPS and Mtero 2033 peaked my interest. Is it worth getting now or should I wait? Is the Steam version buggy? Also maybe recommend any other games like it? Thanks.
