Microphone goes into a soundcard?

Ok im wanting to get an actual microphone for my computer,

I have this soundcard

Will it work? if not is there an adaport i can get or something so i can get sound out of my speakers.

the mic i beleive has a 1/4" jack while as ur soundcard has a 3.5mm...why don't you just get a nice gaming headset?JordanCupcakes
