Hello there

I am a person who does alot of audio related stuff and I need a good microphone, then thing is that I have nearly no knowledge in that area. I have ben looking at USB microphones since they are a bit cheaper and they also don't need a preamp or any phantom power.

I am mostly gonna use this microphone for doing podcasts, recording foley and ADR since I do do alot of videos.

So my question is that what microphone would suit my needs? I'd really appreciate if somebody could help with this. And yes I am aware that this has nothing to do with gaming... tho I do need a mic for that also.

I have ben looking at: Rode Podcaster, AT2020, Blue Yeti, Shure SM7B

Thank you for your time!

Also XLR mics would need a converter or something along those lines.

Budget: 200-300 Euros (including shockmount and stand)

My understanding is that the Blue Yeti microphone you mentioned (this one) is one of the most well-regarded USB mics on the market. I cannot speak to the other products other than to see both Audio Technica and Shure are well-regarded brands in multiple audio markets.

Good luck,

Boz

Well, I did some research on the Yeti and found out that getting a shockmount for it in my country will be really expencive.
